FAQ
Are you an inclusive photographer?
Unequivocally, yes. I'm committed to fostering inclusivity and diversity within my photography. I support the LGBTQ+ community as well as disability rights. My politics are in my work. If you or your family members are differently-abled, please reach out so we can find a location that is accessible for you.
As an Asian woman in an interracial marriage, I was once also looking for a photographer who knew how to photograph different skin tones. Which is why I strive to showcase the beauty of love in its many forms: interracial, LGBTQ+, disabled, interfaith.
Where do you photograph?
I live in Boston but photograph all over the world. My clients are based primarily in New England.
What is your photography style or approach?
My signature style is a mix of photojournalistic and editorial.
In weddings, I capture the ephemeral, fleeting moments between you and your people as a fly on the wall - this is the photojournalism. In portrait sessions, I provide ample posing guidance that puts my couples and families at ease and tells the story of their connection - this is the editorial.
What types of photography services do you offer?
Mostly weddings. Some engagements & proposals. Some family sessions. Reach out for availability via my "Inquire" page!
How long does it take to receive the edited photos?
3-4 weeks.
Do you have any tips for preparing for a successful photo session?
I send you a packet of information, including a style guide, upon booking with me. My sessions are timed in a way that accommodates for any needs that your partner or family may have - children's tantrums, a nursing break, a chance to slow and enjoy your engagement before your nuptials etc. Which is why the sessions say "up to 60 or 90 minutes". If all goes well, we may be done before then.
